We are not doing any year-end lists for 2020, but here are a few standout tracks that are still stuck in our heads.

Nathan Micay - “Industry”

When friends ask us what is Industry about, sometimes we just want to hand them a pair of headphones and play the show’s soundtrack by Nathan Micay.

Janet Kay - “Silly Games”

There is no “Lovers Rock” without “Silly Games.” We like to think Steve McQueen based the entire episode of Small Axe around this one iconic ballad.

“A Pure Person,” the opening track to Millenium Mambo by Lim Giong, was reinterpreted by five different artists on a new tribute compilation last year. We’ve been keeping this version, by Alex Zhang Hungtai, on repeat.
